Women's Campus Safety Seminar
Saturday, August 7 @ 1:00 PM

Heading off to school in the fall, but somewhat nervous about how safe your on-campus experience will be? You're not the only one. In a recent survey, it was reported that 3 in 4 women feel unsafe on campus. Even with a strong police presence, the fear of sexual assault by being ambushed was given as the top concern. But for as awful an idea as that is, what's generally not well-known is that predatory violence isn't the highest risk women on campus face today. Criminal acts by friends, romantic partners, and even roommates, happen every day at colleges and universities across America. Knowing how to protect yourself is too vital a skill to not possess.

On Saturday, August 7, Krav Maga Rochester will be hosting a special Women's Campus Safety Seminar from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. During this course, we will look at ways to respond to violent incidents when they occur, and ways to predict violence before it happens. This event is open to the public at a cost of $75. Registration closes July 31.

This event is open to anyone AGES 16 AND OVER, with or without prior experience in Krav Maga. There will be active participation and scenario training as well as instruction on individual personal protection skills. You must register for this event in advance, and space is strictly limited. Register NOW and receive a $10 discount per participant if you register for two or more. Save the date, and get ready to BE YOUR OWN BODYGUARD!
